Make Your Own Fabric Softener Sheets

This is an easy and fabulous way to save money and help out the environment. Just take some inexpensive cloths, I made my own but you can use any cloth that has soaking ability, such as face cloths. Soak in a solution of half water and liquid fabric softener (any brand) swoosh around once in a while, especially if you do several at a time. I stock up and usually do about 10 at a time. I soak them for an hour or two, or until I remember to come back to them. Wring out excess fabric softener and save for next time. Then hang out on the line or in the shower on wet days. Once dry just throw one in your dryer and voila you have dryer sheets. They last 8 or 10 dryer loads and now your hands and your laundry room smell great.

I could make some and sell them to ya'll but I'd rather just tell you how to make them, easy breezy !!

Welcome to my very first and brand new Blog

Well I've finally done it, started a blog of my own. I've been a follower of blogs long enough !!

I sure couldn't have done it on my own though, a huge thank you to Cheryl of Cheryl's Purple Cow, that's her avatar there I managed to post on here. She helped me through the whole blog process and patiently answered my questions via emails. I wanted to post a link to her ArtFire shop, but haven't learned that yet. Maybe in the next email. We met in the ArtFire Texas Guild, that's another widget I need.

So stay tuned for more widgets, badges and mindless babbling.
